Janie Lou Gibbs is a women who appeas in Deadly Women's Season 1 episode "Greed.
In Cordele, Georgia, greed led Janie Lou Gibbs, a church going mother and grandmother who once ran a day-care center, to poison her three sons, a grandson and her husband in the 1960s for the sole purpose of collecting life insurance.
She was at first found insane but later convicted and given five life sentences. In 1999, she was released on medical reprieve and died in 2010.
